Cheryl Piha is an actress, singer and dancer, new to Columbia, Mo. After graduating from Ithaca College with a BFA in acting, she moved to NYC, where she spent the next 20 years honing her skills as an artist. In 1998, she became a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG)and has worked on television shows such as Law and Order and Ghost Stories. Cheryl sang with the Rutger's University Band that opened for Ray Charles at the 2002 New Jersey Governor's Gala. In 2005, Cheryl won the award for Best Actress in Metamorphoses at the AACT Festival held in Kalamazo, MI. In 2005, Cheryl was hired by Family Resources, in Bradenton, Fla., to direct and teach acting to at risk youth. The work resulted in a locally produced play at the Manatee Player's Community Theater.
