Thomas Yancey
Visual Art / Mixed Media
Thomas Yancey works primarily in acrylics, watercolor and mixed media and also does restorations. His work is influenced by the natural environment, its representational and abstract elements, colors, lines and shapes. He delves into three-dimensional pieces including such mythological figures as Pegasus and mermaids, emerging from the depths of the oceans for hundreds of years. Yancey has his painting, The Guardian Angel, on display as part of the Fayette, Mo. Medical Clinic collection. He does commissioned pieces.
